Srinagar: In response to the detention of religious clerics in Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) the innocent will soon be released.
Speaking to media representatives on the sidelines of the event at the venue BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul said, BJP will ensure that there is no action made against people who aren’t engaged in illegal activities.
“BJP will ensure that action is taken against the persons involved in the wrongdoings,” Koul declared in response to the arrests of religious clerics from Kashmir as well as stating that among the arrested innocents are expected to be released soon.
Moreover, numerous Islamic clerics were detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA) by Jammu and Kashmir for their allegations of involvement in provoking youth.
The Additional Director General for Police (ADGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar had on Saturday stated that a number of religious preachers arrested under PSA were inciting youth despite having been repeatedly warned against it.
Kumar claimed his team had warned them numerous times and they ignored the warnings. “There are reports that some of the clerics are doing the same practice but soon after getting the proper evidence, they too will be booked,” Kumar said.
