Aghast against the closure of 24×7 Reading Room, KU students demand its reopening

SRINAGAR: The students of Kashmir University today held a peaceful protest against the indefinite closure of the 24×7 Reading Room library which is shut since August 2019. The protesting students assembled in front of Allama Iqbal Library and marched towards the Administrative block.

Students alleged that besides numerous representations to the chief librarian, Registrar & VC, the administration is unmoved with our pleas which adds to the sufferings.

We demand 24×7 facilitates shall be provided to the students as early as possible. Reading Room library must be reopened so that students will get relief.
