In the Kulgam district of south Kashmir, two siblings were stabbed by unknown individuals, resulting in injuries to both of them.
According to a family member, the brother and sister were attacked with a knife by unidentified persons on Thursday night in the Karewa Kulgam area. As a result, the siblings sustained injuries and were immediately taken to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
The family member stated that the attack was motivated by a property dispute between the siblings and their neighbors in the south Kashmir region. “However, on Thursday evening, they called some unidentified persons who attacked the two with a knife,” the family member explained.
The brother, identified as Owais Tantray, sustained an injury on his back, towards the left shoulder, while the sister named Momina Tantray suffered an injury to her shoulder.
“After receiving initial treatment at the nearby hospital, the siblings have been referred to Anantnag’s GMC,” their father, Abdul Rashid Tantray, informed.
The family lodged a complaint at the nearest police station, and a police team visited the scene to investigate the incident.
