BSF Recruitment 2024: The Union Public Commission of India has released the BSF 2024 recruitment notification for the appointment of Assistant Commandants in various Central Armed Police Forces, including the BSF. According to the official notification of BSF Recruitment 2024, the last date for receipt of applications is 14th May 2024. There are 186 vacancies opened for the mentioned position in the Border Security Force (BSF).
The maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned job posts is 25 years. The applicants applying for the mentioned position should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. The selection process involves a written examination comprising Paper I and Paper II, followed by Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests, Medical Examination, and an Interview/Personality Test. The final merit list is determined based on a total of 600 marks from all stages of evaluation.

Qualification Required —
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit —
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2024, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1999 and not later than 1st August 2004.
The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:-
(i) Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
(ii) Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
(iii) upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants.
Application Fees —
The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) [excepting SC/ST/Female candidates who are exempted from payment of fee] either by remitting the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using any Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI Payment or by using net banking of any Bank.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other relevant documents.
Step 6: Pay the application fee as per your category. You can pay the fee online using a debit/credit card or through net banking.
Step 7: After successful payment, review your application form and submit it.
Step 8: Finally, take a printout of your application form for future reference.
