CRPF Recruitment 2024 for 120 Vacancies, Check Eligibility, Procedure to Apply Online

CRPF Recruitment 2024: The Union Public Commission of India has released the CRPF AC 2024 recruitment notification for the appointment of Assistant Commandants in various Central Armed Police Forces, including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Candidates must be Indian citizens. As per the official notification released by UPSC for CRPF Recruitment 2024, the last date for receipt of applications is 14^th May 2024. There are 120 vacancies opened for the mentioned position in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

The maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned job posts is 25 years. The applicants applying for the mentioned position should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on 04th August, 2024 for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A). The selection process involves a written examination comprising Paper I and Paper II, followed by Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests, Medical Examination, and an Interview/Personality Test. The final merit list is determined based on a total of 600 marks from all stages of evaluation.

Age Limit —
Candidates should be at least 20 years old and not more than 25 years old as on August 1, 2024 i.e., they must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1999 and later than August 1, 2004. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per government rules.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:-
(i) Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
(ii) Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
(iii) upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants.

Application Fees —
The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) [excepting SC/ST/Female candidates who are exempted from payment of fee] either by remitting the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using any Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI Payment or by using net banking of any Bank.

How to Apply — CRPF Recruitment 2024:
Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC which is https://upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the “Examination” section on the homepage and click on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website for registration. Fresh candidates must complete the one-time registration (OTR) process. After the OTR is completed, they can proceed to fill the application process.
Step 3: Before applying, make sure to go through the instructions and eligibility criteria carefully.
Step 4: Click on the “Login” link and enter all the necessary details like personal information, educational qualifications, and contact information.
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other relevant documents.
Step 6: Pay the application fee as per your category. You can pay the fee online using a debit/credit card or through net banking.
Step 7: After successful payment, review your application form and submit it.
Step 8: Finally, take a printout of your application form for future reference.
