CSIR Madras Complex (CSIR CMC), Taramani, Chennai, has released Advertisement No. 01/2025 inviting online applications from Indian Nationals for various administrative posts. The recruitment is for Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Junior Stenographer (JSS) positions under different categories.
As per the notification, there are a total of 9 vacancies for posts including General-Hindi, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase, and Stenography. The online application process will begin on 17 April 2025 and continue till 19 May 2025. Eligible candidates are advised to check the eligibility details and apply within the stipulated dates. Eligibility Criteria of CSIR CMC Notification 2025: Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.
Educational Qualifications and Age Limits:
i) Junior Secretariat Assistant (General – Hindi):
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with computer typing speed of 30 wpm in Hindi (9000 KDPH, 5 key depressions per word).
Age limit: Not more than 31 years.
ii) Junior Secretariat Assistant (F&A):
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi (10500/9000 KDPH).
Age limit: UR – 28 years, SC – 33 years.
iii) Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase):
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
Age limit: Not more than 28 years.
iv) Junior Stenographer:
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with shorthand speed of 80 wpm in English/Hindi. Transcription time: 50 mins (English) or 65 mins (Hindi).
Age limit: UR – 27 years, OBC – 30 years.
Application Process for CSIR CMC Notification 2025:
Candidates must apply online through the official website www.csircmc.res.in. The online portal will be open from 17 April to 19 May 2025. After completing the online form, candidates must also send a signed hard copy along with necessary documents by 29 May 2025.
Application Fee:
An application fee of ₹500 is applicable for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. Payment must be done via Net Banking. SC/ST/Women/Ex-servicemen/PwBD/CSIR employees are exempted from the fee. Candidates staying abroad need to pay applicable bank charges.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on written examination, typing skill test (for JSA), and shorthand test (for JSS). Only those who qualify in the respective tests will be considered for final selection. The detailed scheme will be shared in due course.
