Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, has rinvited online applications from eligible graduates in Engineering & Technology / General streams for the engagement of 104 Technical Apprentices / Interns and Administrative Apprentices / Interns for the year 2025–26 under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. The appointments are open for candidates who completed their qualifying degree in 2023 or 2024 with at least 60% marks.
As per the official notification, the apprenticeship will be for a duration of one year and offered in Technical and Administrative categories. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,000 for Technical Interns and ₹10,000 for Administrative Interns.
Eligible candidates must register on both the NATS portal and the IUST recruitment portal by 25 April 2025. Submission of hard copies is mandatory by 01 May 2025. Complete details are provided below —

Eligibility Criteria:

i) Technical Apprentice/Intern: B.Tech in: Electronics & Communication / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Food Technology / Architecture / B.Lib / M.Lib (for Library) / B.Tech in IT or CS (for DIT&SS and DIC).
ii) Administrative Apprentice/Intern: Graduation (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BCA/B.Sc. IT) OR Post-Graduation (MA/M.Sc./M.Com/MBA/MCA/M.Sc. IT)
Note: Candidates must have completed their degree in 2023 or 2024 with 60% marks.
How to Apply:

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹200 (non-refundable), to be paid online via the IUST portal. Fee receipt must be submitted with hard copy documents.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on merit in the qualifying degree (75%) and performance in the interview (25%).
Shortlisting will be merit-based, and candidates with knowledge of MS Office will be given preference. Selection will be done in a phased manner as per institutional requirements.
