IUST Teaching Staff Recruitment 2024: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Assistant Professors in the following subjects on a contractual basis as an academic arrangement for teaching and other allied academic activities.

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the University website www.iust.ac.in. Required educational qualifications and other details for informational purposes only in the interest of job-seekers, are given below in brief —

Important Dates:
Start Date of submission of online application forms — 27^th March 2024
Last date of submission of online application forms — 07^th April 2024
Last date of submission of hard copies of the application forms — 08^th April 2024

Vacancy Details – IUST Teaching Staff Recruitment 2024: Online Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the below-mentioned posts:

1) Assistant Professor (Philosophy)
– Qualification: Master‘s degree with 55% marks in Philosophy from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university AND NET/SLET/SET or Ph. D.

2) Assistant Professor (Computer Science & Engineering)
– Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech/ B.S. and M.E. / M. Tech./ M.S. or integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch or equivalent in any one of the degrees OR Ph.D. from the institution of National importance with GATE/GPAT/CEED directly after the Bachelor’s degree.

Salary: For candidates having:
– PG (excluding arch): Rs. 45,000/- per month
– NET/SET/GATE: Rs. 48,000/- per month
– Ph.D: Rs. 50,000/- per month
– NET/SET/GATE and Ph.D.: Rs. 50,000/- per month
– B. Arch/ M. Arch: Rs. 50,000 per month

Application Fee: Rs.300/- shall have to be deposited as an application fee through an online mode.
