University of Jammu has released the official notification inviting applications in the prescribed form from interested and eligible candidates for contractual teaching positions for the academic session 2025–26 on contract basis as an academic/temporary arrangement. The Assistant Professor/Teaching Assistant positions will be engaged in various departments at the Main Campus and Offsite Campuses. The last date for submission of application form is 21st April 2025.
As mentioned in the official notification of the University of Jammu, the upper age limit is as per UGC norms. Candidates selected for contractual teaching positions will be paid as per University norms. The selection of applicants will be based on a screening and interview process.

Educational Qualifications:
As per the UGC Guidelines, candidates should have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). Preference will be given to candidates with NET/SET/Ph.D. qualifications as per UGC Regulations.
