Jammu University Recruitment 2024: The University of Jammu has also invited Online applications from the domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir for the recruitment of the following Non-teaching staff posts in Main Campus, University of Jammu. Jammu University Eligibility Criteria & Salary —

1) Junior Engineer (Civil) — 02 Posts
– Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
– Salary: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-

2) Semi-Professional Assistant — 04 Posts
– Qualification: Graduate with Bachelors in Library Science.
– Salary: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-

3) Lab. Assistant (Geography) — 01 Posts
– Qualification: M.Sc in Concerned subject.
– Salary: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-

4) Data Entry Operator — 14 Posts
– Qualification: BCA/Graduation in any discipline with PGDCA Or Bachelor’s Degree including B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT shall be considered as equivalent to BCA for ascertaining the eligibility for the said post.). One year Diploma in Computer Science/Applications or equivalent after graduation in any discipline and/or Master of Computer Application (M.C.A) or equivalent after graduation in any discipline shall also be considered equivalent to “graduation in any discipline with PGDCA” for ascertaining the eligibility for the said post.
– Salary: Rs. 29,200 – 92,300/-

5) Steno Typist — 05 Posts
– Qualification: Graduation and have a minimum speed of 60 w.p.m in shorthand and 40 w.p.m in typing.
– Salary: Rs. 29,200 – 92,300/-

6) Junior Assistant — 15 Posts
– Qualification: Graduation with a computer typing speed 40 w.p.m in typing.
– Salary: Rs. 29,200 – 81,100/-

7) Section Cutter(Geology) — 01 Post
– Qualification: Middle pass with certificate course from ITI Or Middle pass with skill in the trade.
– Salary: Rs. 16,900 – 53,500/-

Age Limit: 18 years to 40 years as on 01/01/2024. The upper age limit will be relaxed as per norms for various categories.
