Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Chief Coordinator of G20, announced that the upcoming G20 Tourism Working Group Meeting in Srinagar will have the highest number of participants compared to previous meetings in Gujarat and West Bengal.
During a press conference at SKICC, Shringla stated that the third TWG meeting in Srinagar will witness maximum participation from G20 members, OIC countries, Singapore, Nigeria, Indonesia, UK, USA, UN members, and tourism experts. This significant representation highlights the global interest in the event.
The meeting will primarily focus on sustainable tourism, adventure tourism, film tourism, and eco-tourism. It aims to highlight the tourism potential of Jammu and Kashmir on an international scale.
Additionally, Shringla emphasized that the event will play a vital role in reviving the economy of Jammu and Kashmir.
Shringla expressed confidence that the UT of Jammu and Kashmir will witness a substantial increase in tourist inflow, attracting high-end tourists.
The event will be attended by G20 member countries, invited countries, international organizations, industry stakeholders, and prominent figures from the film industry.
