MeT predicts dry weather in Kashmir, isolated light rain in Jammu division

Srinagar: Weather department on Thursday forecast mainly dry weather over the Kashmir division and isolated light rain over the Jammu division in the next 24 hours.

A meteorological department here told that “isolated to scattered light rain and thundershowers were expected during the subsequent two days in both divisions.”

He said that while rain eluded Kashmir valley in the last 24 hours till 08:30 hours today, Jammu district received 10.2mm, Katra 0.8mm and Bhaderwah 1.9mm.

Srinagar had 13.3, Pahalgam 7.8 and Gulmarg 7.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

Drass town in Ladakh region had 2.8, Kargil 7 and Leh 2.5 as the minimum temperature.

Jammu had 22.5, Katra 20.2, Batote 14.1, Banihal 11.4 and Bhaderwah 13.4 as the minimum temperature.
