NIA Recruitment 2024: The National Insurance Academy (NIA) has released a new notification for seeking interested and eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor (IT). According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2024, the last date for receipt of applications is 15th May 2024 upto 6.00 p.m. There are 02 vacancies opened for the mentioned position.
The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have a Ph.D. in the relevant academic area is mandatory with a minimum of three years of post – Ph.D. teaching/ research/ industrial experience. The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Level 12 (Rs. 1,01,500 – 1,67,400/-) of the pay matrix as per the CFTI Scale of Pay. The appointment will be on a probation basis. The period of the appointment will remain valid for an appropriate period of 01 year and may be extended further depending on the satisfactory performance of the selected candidates and the committee’s requirements.

Vacancy Details —
The Academy invites applications from eligible candidates having a passion for academic activities viz. teaching, research and consultancy related to Information Technology for the position of Assistant Professor (IT). There are 02 vacancies available for the mentioned position.

Salary —
The selected candidates will get a remuneration of Rs. 101500 to 167400/- (Level-12) of the Pay Matrix as per the CFTI Scale of Pay.
Age Limit —
The candidates applying for NIA Recruitment 2024 should not exceed the age of 45 years and can be relaxed in the case of deserving candidates with commensurate exposure.
Qualification Required —
To apply for Assistant Professor (IT) in National Insurance Academy (NIA) Pune the applicants must have a Ph.D. in the relevant academic area is mandatory, with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) in Master’s Degree, with a consistently good academic record.
Experience Required —
The candidates applying for NIA Recruitment 2024, should have at least 03 years of post-PhD experience in teaching/research/ industrial.
- Candidates from Industry (Govt./ PSU/ Research Organization) having relevant experience of at least 3 years at the level equivalent to Asst. Professor and fulfilling the above-mentioned requirements may also apply.
- Minimum 2 research papers in “B Category Journals” or minimum 1 research paper in “A Category Journals” in the relevant area.
Tenure —
The tenure for NIA Recruitment 2024 will be on a probationary basis initially for an approx period of 01 year, which can be extended further for 01 more year, based on the candidate’s performance and the committee’s requirements.
Selection Process —
As mentioned in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2024, the committee will conduct an interview to determine the qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position.
