The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar has released the official notification for a short-term internship under a SERB-sponsored research project in the Department of Civil Engineering. The internship opportunity is open to Civil Engineering students from B.Tech final year or those currently pursuing M.Tech.
As per the notification, this internship focuses on research related to traffic safety analysis using naturalistic driving data, under a project funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. The selected candidate will receive a stipend of ₹25,000 per month for the duration of two months.

This internship drive aims to fill 01 vacancy for the post of Student Intern in the Department of Civil Engineering at NIT Srinagar.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be either in the final year of B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or currently pursuing M.Tech in Civil Engineering with a B.Tech CGPA of at least 6.5. A good understanding of Traffic Engineering, numerical modeling, statistical analysis, and IBM SPSS is desirable.
