Name of Post: Director:
– Qualification: Ph.D. degree with a first class degree at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in Engineering / Technology.
Pay Scale: Rs.2,10,000/- (fixed) plus Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250/- p.m. and other admissible allowances as applicable to the Vice Chancellor of the Central Universities and the Directors of other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).
The Director of an NIT being the academic as well as administrative head is expected to have a proven administrative, teaching and research background (including significant experience in research guidance at the Ph.D. level) with leadership qualities.
