Railway Apprentice Recruitment Notification 2023 Eligibility and Age Limit

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent and ITI in relevant trade (i.e National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).
Age Limit:
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24
years of age as on 01.01.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable for various categories as per Govt rules.
Application Fee:
The application fee for Apprentice posts is Rs. 100/-. Fee payment will have to be made online through the payment gateway as part of the online application process. However, No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
Railway Apprentice Recruitment Notification 2023 Selection Process
Selection for Apprenticeship training will be on the basis of a merit list. The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with a minimum of 50% (aggregate marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
Railway Apprentice Recruitment Notification Salary 2023
The selected candidates will be paid a stipend during Apprenticeship at the applicable rates as per extant instructions. Rates are liable to change as per rules and directions issued by the Railway Board from time to time.
