Over the past 24 hours, the weather in Jammu and Kashmir has been predominantly dry. However, according to the Meteorological (MeT) office, rain is expected to commence on Tuesday.
The forecast for today indicates clear skies and warmer temperatures compared to yesterday.
Between May 13 and 17, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the region. During this period, scattered places in Jammu and Kashmir may experience light rain or thunderstorms.
The MeT office statement mentioned that there is a 60 percent chance of moderate to heavy thundershowers in certain areas of the Jammu region on the 14th and 15th.
As for the minimum temperatures, Srinagar recorded 14.6 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 7.2 degrees Celsius, and Gulmarg 10 degrees Celsius. In the Ladakh region, Leh reported a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius.
In Jammu, the minimum temperature was 25.3 degrees Celsius, Katra recorded 20.5 degrees Celsius, Batote 14.7 degrees Celsius, Banihal 12.1 degrees Celsius, and Bhaderwah 10.5 degrees Celsius.
