Sex Racket Busted in Jammu; Two Kashmiris Arrested

The Jammu and Kashmir Police has uncovered a sex trafficking ring in Jammu city and apprehended five individuals involved in the operation.

Two women and three men, two from Kashmir and one from Nagrota Jammu, were arrested by the police.

According to a senior police official, the three male suspects enticed young women with the promise of employment in Jammu and then forced them into the sex trade.

The police received a tip-off about the racket and raided a hotel near Jewel Chowk Jammu, where they arrested the individuals.

Asif Husain Lone, the son of Abdul Rehman from Kokernag Anantnag, was among those arrested after the police searched the hotel.

The police have registered a case under section 3/5 of the Immoral Trafficking Act at Police Station Nawa Abad (Jewel) Jammu.

Another accused, Muhammad Altaf War, the son of Ghulam Hassan War from the Pachkoote area of Vilgam Handwara, was also arrested in the case.
