SSC JHT Admit Card 2023 Released on ssc.nic.in, Direct Link to Download JHT Tier 1 Hall Ticket

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC JHT Admit Card today, 10 October 2023. Candidates who are going to appear for the SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2023 exam can visit the official website to download their hall tickets or click on the direct link provided in the article.

The SSC JHT exam is scheduled to be conducted on 16 October in an online mode. This exam is being conducted to recruit 307 eligible candidates for the position of Junior Hindi Translator in various ministries/ departments of the Government of India.

How to Download SSC 2023 JHT Admit Card?

Step 1: Go to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in or click on the direct link provided above.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the SSC JHT Admit Card download link.
Step 3: A new window will open, enter your login details such as registration number and password.
Step 4: Your SSC JHT Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on the screen. Download it and take out its printout to carry to the exam centre.

SSC JHT Admit Card acts as an entry pass to the examination hall. Candidates must carry their admit cards to get entry into the examination hall. Those who fail to do so will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and take the SSC JHT exam.

SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2023

SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Exam is conducted in both Hindi and English since checking the command of the candidate over their English and the Hindi language is the main criterion for this exam. The exam pattern for Paper-I and Paper-II Exam is given below:

Marking Scheme Of SSC JHT 2023

  • Paper I will consist of multiple-choice questions only (objective type).
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I.
  • Paper II shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates, only who qualify in Paper I.
  • The Commission may at its discretion, fix qualifying marks in Paper II.

SSC JHT Exam Pattern – Paper I

The exam pattern of paper 1 is given in the table. There will be two sections in Hindi and English of 100 marks each. The exam will be for 2 hours. Candidates need to complete the whole paper in 2 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer marked. The questions will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of the languages and literature.

SSC JHT Exam Pattern – Paper II

Those candidates who qualify the Paper I are going to appear for the Paper II of SSC JHT. Paper II consists of two sections i.e., Translation and Essay Writing. In the translation section, there will be two questions of transition one will be for the translation given passage from Hindi to English and vice versa. The Essay section will also have 2 questions. In this section, candidates have to write 2 essays one in English and the other in Hindi. There is a cumulative time of 2 hours for the whole exam.
