On Tuesday, it was reported that a teenage boy and a man allegedly died by suicide in the districts of Ganderbal and Srinagar.
According to an official, the family members of the 18-year-old (whose name was withheld) found him hanging from a ceiling fan in his home. Upon arrival, the police took the body for legal and medical formalities.
In a separate incident, an official stated that a man from Uri Baramulla ended his life by hanging himself in the Tulsi Bagh area of Srinagar.
The authorities have registered cases under relevant sections of the law to determine the cause of both deaths.
