TRB TN Recruitment 2024: The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu has advertised an employment notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors on a Direct basis. The last date to apply is 29^th April 2024. As mentioned in the official notification of TRB Recruitment 2024, there are 4000 Vacant Posts available for the stated positions. The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400/-.

Based on the official notification of TRB TN Recruitment 2024, the applicants must have a completed PG (Relevant Subject) with NET/ SLET/ SET/ SLST/ CSIR/ JRF as per UGC Norms or Ph.D. Applicant’s age should be less than 57 years in order to be capable of applying for the post. Salary —
As per the official notification of TRB TN Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates for the post of Assistant Professors will get a salary of Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400/- (Level 10).

Age Limit —
Candidates should not have completed 57 years as of 01-07-2024.

Qualification —

• A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  
  Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D.
  
  OR
  
• The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution.

Application Fee —
The Examination fee is Rs.600/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and differently-abled persons. For SC, SCA, ST and differently-abled persons, the examination fee is Rs. 300/-. Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Category of Disability. Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded.

Selection Process —
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Examination (MCQ Type) and Interviews.
