UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) started accepting applications for the NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy) I 2024 on December 20, 2023. Union Public Service Commission is looking for qualified candidates to fill up 400 vacancies for the position given below in the list:
- National Defence Academy: 370 posts
- Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 30 posts

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates for the Army wing need to have completed Class 12/HSC.
- Candidates for the Indian Naval Academy’s 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme and the Air Force must have completed Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.
Age Limit: Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 2005 and not later than 1st July 2008 are eligible.
Application Fee: Candidates (excepting SC/ST candidates/female candidates/Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 below who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash, or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking of any Bank. Selection Process:
There are three essential elements in the NDA selection process:
- NDA Written test: Passing the written test is required of candidates.
- Interview with the Service Selection Board (SSB): Those who pass the written test are invited to an interview with the SSB.
- Medical Examination: To determine if an applicant is fit to serve in the Indian Army, they must undergo a comprehensive medical examination after the interview.
