UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2024: The Union Public Commission of India has released the CAPF 2024 recruitment notification for the appointment of Assistant Commandants in various Central Armed Police Forces, including the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, among others. Qualification Required for UPSC Recruitment 2024—

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2024—

A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2024, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1999 and not later than 1st August 2004.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:-

(i) Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
(ii) Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
(iii) upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants.

UPSC Application Fees —

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) [excepting SC/ST/Female candidates who are exempted from payment of fee] either by remitting the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using any Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI Payment or by using net banking of any Bank.

Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination.
