VSSC Recruitment 2024: The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has released the latest notification looking for eligible candidates for the posts of Research Scientist and Project Associate-I. The selected applicants will be working in Thiruvananthapuram. The applicant must hold an M.Sc. degree in Meteorology / Atmospheric Science or equivalent. The selected candidates will be paid a salary on up to Rs. 95,000/- per month. The mode of selection will be based on written test and interview. There are 03 seats available for the indicated posts.

The upper age limit should be 28 years for Research Scientist and 35 years for Project Associate-I. The candidate will be hired for 3 years. Salary for VSSC Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of VSSC Recruitment 2024, the salary is listed below:-

• Research Scientist — The chosen candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 95,000/-.
• Project Associate-I — The chosen candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 37000/-.

Place of Posting for VSSC Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidate will be posted at Thiruvananthapuram, but the selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.

Tenure for VSSC Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of VSSC Recruitment 2024, the tenure is mentioned below:-

• Research Scientist — The candidate will be appointed for 03 years and is not entitled to an annual increment.
• Project Associate-I — The candidate will be appointed for 01 year and is renewable every year (up to March 2026 only) subject to satisfactory progress of work.

Required Qualifications for VSSC Recruitment 2024:

The required qualification is listed below:-

• Research Scientist — The candidate should have an M.Sc. degree in Meteorology / Atmospheric Science with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.
• Project Associate-I — The candidate should have an M.Sc degree in Physics / Atmospheric Science / Meteorology with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA / CPI grading of a minimum of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Age Limit for VSSC Recruitment 2024:

The age limit is mentioned in the official notification of VSSC is listed below:-

• Research Scientist — The upper age limit should be 28 years.
• Project Associate-I — The upper age limit should be 35 years.

Selection Process for VSSC Recruitment 2024:

The mode of selection will be based on a written test. The candidates will be short-listed for interview in a ratio of 1:5. The written test will be held in Thiruvananthapuram only.
