Widespread rain likely in Kashmir today

According to the Meteorological (MeT) department, light rain is expected in J&K over the next 24 hours, with widespread rain having occurred in the region during the previous 24 hours.

The official also stated that the Valley and isolated areas in the Jammu division may experience rain, expected to improve conditions in the afternoon.

Minimum temperatures in Srinagar, Pahalgam, and Gulmarg were recorded at 6.5, 4.2, and minus 1 degrees Celsius, respectively.

In the Ladakh region, Kargil and Leh recorded minimum temperatures of 4.6 and minus 2.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures in Jammu, Katra, Batote, Banihal, and Bhaderwah were 19.4, 16.8, 10.4, 8.3, and 7.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
