Eligibility Criteria of YIL Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification

  • Non-ITI Category: Candidates must have passed Madhyamik (Class X) or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks and 40% marks in Mathematics and Science.
  • ITI Category: Candidates must have passed the relevant ITI trade test from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT with a minimum 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, they should have passed Class X with 50% aggregate marks.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 14 years as of the closing date of the application.
  • Maximum Age: 35 years as per the Apprentice Act, 1961.

Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.


Stipend

The monthly stipend for selected apprentices will be as follows:

Selection Process

  1. Older candidates will be preferred.
  2. Candidates with earlier matriculation certification years will be prioritized.
  3. Alphabetical order of candidate names.
